The legacy my father and grandfather passed on to me began in 1923-'24 when, Homer L. Thornton, started his insurance agency and Graham Federal Savings & Loan Association in Graham, Texas. Now known as Graham Savings, it continues to serve Graham and the surrounding area of Young County, Texas. My father, Homer L. Thornton, Jr. followed my grandfather, as a military veteran, farmer & rancher, corporate controller, Independent CPA and entrepreneur. H. L. Thornton, Jr helped many people and businesses keep good records, advised them on effective tax strategies and helped them make good financial decisions. His clients could know where they are, and where they may want to go, financially speaking. I continue our family name and business legacy doing business as H. L. Thornton & Co and operating by the core values passed on to me: Integrity, Service, and Excellence. Operating by these core values allows relationships to be built on mutual trust.
